How to Get Here
Madden's on Gull Lake is located roughly 2.5 hours from the Twin Cities. If you are coming from outside of Minnesota, we recommend flying into Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport. There is also smaller, regional airport located in Brainerd that has connection flights through MSP.
We recommend renting a car for those traveling in from either airport.
You can also reserve a shuttle through Groome Transportation to transport you from the MSP Airport up to Brainerd. The drop-off location is at The Lodge of Brainerd Lakes in Baxter.
Please note, there are little-to-no Ubers or Lyfts in the area. There is a local taxi service, and you can schedule a ride ahead of time if needed through Brainerd Taxi.
Madden's Resort
Our wedding will be at Madden's on Gull Lake, which has plenty of options for lodging. Madden's offers hotel style rooms, cabins, and multi-room cottages. Rooms through a room block are now available.
If rooms are unavailable through the link, you can also call 800-642-5363 to make a reservation and reference the Norelius-Leonard wedding. Rooms will be added to the booking link on a rolling basis and may become unavailable at times.
Madden's requires a 3 night minimum. Booking is in high demand for the summer months, so we recommend making reservations early.
We recommend this as the first option, as it will allow you to be on-site for all wedding activities with no driving!
Reserve at Madden'sCragun's Resort
Cragun's is the next closest resort right down the shore from Madden's. They also offer 1-bedroom suites up to multi-bedroom style cabins. Rooms are available through a room block.
Cragun's requires a 2 night minimum through our room block. If you would like to extend your stay or modify dates, please call 1-800-272-4867.
We will have transportation options to and from Cragun's for the day of the wedding.

Brainerd has a variety of nearby accommodation options to choose from. For shorter stays, there are several hotels within a few miles of Madden's. There are also Airbnb and VRBO options in the area.
